About Mark
Mark Killingsworth has provided legal counsel and business consulting services in private practice and in-house roles for more than 20 years. After litigating complex corporate and class action lawsuits for a decade, he transitioned to a business law practice, serving as general counsel to companies and nonprofits in both outside and in-house capacities.
His experience spans from international AmLaw 100 and Big Four accounting firms, to Fortune 50 clients, to startups and local churches. Having spent years in the courtroom and the boardroom, he has represented clients in a wide range of business law, corporate transactions, complex litigation, and compliance investigations, across technology, nonprofit, healthcare, finance, construction, manufacturing, and many other sectors. He draws on this experience to help his clients proactively protect their organizations against business and legal risks, and to provide practical solutions when legal issues arise.
Mark is an eighth generation Texan. He earned an undergraduate degree in business economics from Baylor University and a law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. He is an active member of The Trails Church in Celina, Texas, and is privileged to serve on the boards of Sky Ranch, a nonprofit Christian camp, and Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes, a nonprofit youth sports organization.
